CCTV
is the most cost-effective and least disruptive method of
obtaining accurate information on the condition and indeed
the location of sewers and pipelines.
The
process has revolutionised the industry and most problems
can now be identified and rectified - through high
pressure jetting or patch
lining - without the need to excavate large sections of
pipes.
EEC
continues to be at the forefront of this revolution with the
latest equipment and specialised vehicles to produce detailed
reports and video footage of problem areas.
The
cameras can be remotely controlled from any of our customised
CCTV vehicles or, where required, manually walked through
the pipe to allow our CCTV teams to survey up to 600m of continuous
pipeline via live video footage.
Our
CCTV equipment is also used to facilitate drainage asset management.

Reporting
EEC's vans are equipped with the latest technology to enable
us to produce full computerised reports as the inspection
takes place with video footage and audio commentary as well
as a database of information and maps.
As
well as being a much more efficient process, this speed of
reporting can be vital in making critical decisions in situations
such as in an emergency flood
situation where an urgent response is required..
All
our reports are generated to international sewer coding standards
or can be tailored to individual clients requirements.
