Stand and Deliver on Major Highways Project

Environmental Contracts has successfully completed a major
survey and repair project of the drainage system prior to
the opening of one of the UK’s largest highways projects.
EEC
were originally contracted to carry out the pre-completion
cleaning and inspection of the drainage system using the company’s
high pressure jetting technology and their CCTV pipeline survey
equipment.
EEC’s
Project Manager, Gareth Parry-Jones, “Our CCTV pipeline
survey team identified numerous defects to the drainage system
which the client had requested were rectified via traditional
means.”
EEC
proposed that the repairs could be carried out using their
Patch Lining solution which would not only enable the works
to be carried out quicker but would be at a fraction of the
cost of excavating and relaying the pipes.
Gareth
continued, “Whilst the financial element of the proposal
proved to be extremely attractive, the client quite rightly
wanted assurances that the repairs would retain the structural
strength and lifetime of the original materials. EEC patch
lining solutions come complete with a 50 Year Guarantee which
means that the patch repair is actually stronger than the
pipe itself.”
Once
the client was satisfied the product specification and upon
receiving excellent testimonials from previous EEC clients,
